ORIGIN: He is a hunter who enjoys great popularity in an 18th-century French village where Bella lives, whom he intends to marry, albeit illegitimately.

DESCRIPTION: A muscular young adult with fair skin, a hairy torso, blue eyes, and jet-black hair tied back in a ponytail. He wears a maroon shirt with a mustard-colored undershirt, a brown belt with a gold buckle, black trousers, and brown boots, although he may also wear ochre gloves, a quiver strapped to his chest, and/or a dark blue cape (whereas in the 2017 remake he usually wears a white ruffled shirt, an ochre vest, a scarlet coat with gold buttons, brown trousers and dark boots). He is vain, egocentric, rude, and sexist.
