Aztec Death Whistle

ORIGIN: The Ehecachichtli is a musical instrument associated with the worship of the Mesoamerican gods Ehecatl (wind) and Mictlantecuhtli (death), and was used to frighten enemies or to perform sacrifices. In the film, it is given the Nahuatl term "In Choka" (The Cry), and anyone who hears its whistle will be haunted by a doppelgänger, referencing the manner of their future death.
